Hello I have been recieving a question about Paypal and how does paypal work.

Q.How long does it take for paypal to activate it ?
A:It usually takes 24 / 48 hrs .. but you must have atleast 1$ on your bank card.

A paypal is very tricky and sometimes very evil internet bank to use.

Why ?

Because if you have no bank card on your paypal or if you have fake info or if you or transfer money from one account to your second account then thing´s might get bad.

When you have non verified paypal account then Paypal might suddenly lock your acc.

And ask you to confim your info and add a credit card.

No credit card ? wait till you are 18.

Fake info might also get your account locked until you verife it.

Senting money from your one account to another account that are both yours may result account lockage.

so don´t do that.

Paypal and Team Fortress 2.

Many users around sourceOP.com and tf2outpost use paypal money to trade in game.

So what you would like to know.

1.Trade with high rep people / people you can trust.

2.Recieve payment as GIFT!

Exception:People with HIGH reputation!

3.Tell the buyer/seller to add a note with steamid about the purchase.


Side note: Recieving 1000$ or more in paypal may result getting marked as merchant in paypal.

Being a merchant gives you HIGHER fees.
